Chocolate Anyone?

Men are like chocoloate. They come in different packages and flavors. Some you want to try more than once and with others, one taste is more than enough. They can be nutty, sweet and full of so much crap their true flavor is hidden.

They entice us, thrill us, infuriate us and make us love them even if we shouldn't or don't want to; much like our male characters.

Discovering a new man, or male character is like discovering a new chocolate indulgence. He catches your eye with his smile, gorgeous eyes or captivating gaze and you want to unwrap him and enjoy all his flavors. Here is one of my favorites to unwrap.

THE CLASSIC

Pierce Brosnan: Hot, hot and more hotness. He's inpired most of the characters in my books with his dark hair, and who could resist those Irish eyes and sexy smile. Like Sean Connery, he gets better with age.

  4. OMG! I love Pierce Brosnan. I've loved him since I was . . .well, young-ish and he was Remington Steele. He only gets better w/ age. Tho' I'm a huge James Bond fan, Pierce was my favorite Bond. *Sigh* He's the one man my mother and I agree on being yummy! Thanks for the post/pic!

  7. Yes, some men can definitely be nutty! LOL I've enjoyed unwrapping my own man over the years. It's amazing that even after a long time together, there's still more to find. Like you said, though, some of it's crap and you have to cut that out and get to the good stuff! LOL
I love Pierce Brosnan as well. Great choice, and AWESOME pic. Perked up my morning!

  8. I couldn't find the picture of him I had in my room as a teenager (Remington Steele in a tux), but I found this one and knew instantly it was perfect because I wanted to be one of the women drapped across him. :-)

Unfortunately, his accent isn't strong enough for me. I was spoiled by an ex whose Irish brogue was so thick and awesome I would "melt" when he spoke. He used to read me poetry. Sigh...he moved to Holland.

  9. Elke,
A woman would have to be made of stone not to appreciate a fine piece of chocolate and a gorgeous man such as Mr. Brosnan. I agree that the Remington Steele days were the beginning, but there seems to be no end to his sexiness. Now I'm in the kid-movie mostly phase of life, and I found myself hoping there were more scenes with the top half of Pierce Brosnan in the recent Lightning Thief movie. It kind of made it worth it.

  10. Yes, Sherry! Mr. Brosnan was indeed fine in that movie! Most of my TV/movie time is taken up by kid flicks, too, and the other one that I loved is HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON. Mr. Gerard Butler's voice made that movie worth watching!

Elke, that's funny - I want to be one of the women draped across him. *sigh* if only...

  11. Didn't realize he was in that movie. I will have to rent it. Thanks Sherry! He was in was Mrs. Doubtfire. There is a scene with him by the pool...ooh mama!

I agree Kellie, about Gerard's voice in How to train your dragon. YUMMY!

  12. OMG, I loved this. Eerily enough, I was just thinking about Remington Steele a few days ago... Remember it used to air right next to Moonlighting, with young Bruce Willis? Ahhh, THAT was a night I ALWAYS got my homework done on time!

  15. Did any of you see him in Mamma Mia? I loved him, but for some odd reason I got the giggles ever time he sang. I think it was his facial expressions, cause I have the soundtrak too and I don't laugh when I hear him. Just when I see him sing.

But he was an awesome Bond and I enjoyed watching him in Percy Jackson too (I would have liked him to have a bigger part as well).

By the way did you know they were making a Thomas Crown Affair 2?
